As the sun came up, I met my Ryzzfit Berlin personal trainer, Martin, by the old runway. We started with a light jog for 10 minutes. He then guided me through our usual calisthenics warm-up combined with stretches. This is how we always start. I have been training with Ryzzfit for a year now with the core goal of participating in my first calisthenics championship. When I first met Martin, I couldn’t do a single pull-up, I could barely hold onto a bar. As this first pull-up goal is hard for women, I was not very confident in my ability to achieve this challenge. However, my Berlin personal trainer convinced me to give it a try.
After 6 months, I did my first pull-up and after a year I reached 10 reps. This was only possible thanks to a highly advanced training plan based on many diverse exercises and specific equipment such as various elastic bands.
Beyond this achievement, Martin helped me avoid joint pains thanks to his calisthenics experience and enabled me to have an optimal fitness journey.
